Midfielder - Arie Haan was known for the devastating shot he packed in his right-leg. The most successful Dutch player of all time, the list of trophies he won includes three European Cups with Ajax and two Cup Winners Cups with Anderlecht. Gheorghe Hagi (Player 1982-2001)
Midfielder - Gheorghe Hagi led Romania to the quarter-finals of the 1994 World Cup.
The Maradona of the Carpathians was known for his accurate passsing. Hagi had little success playing in Spain and Italy, but the left-footed playmaker earned plenty of silverware with Steaua Bucharest and Galatasaray.

Gerhard Hanappi (Player 1947-1965)
Midfielder - Superbly versatile, Gerhard Hanappi was viewed by contemporaries as the best Austrian footballer since Matthias Sindelar. The diminutive all-rounder helped his country reach third place at the 1954 World Cup. Hanappi won the Austrian league with his club Rapid Vienna on seven occasions.

Geoff Hurst (Player 1959-1976)
